February 27, 2011 Open House for Members, Partners and Volunteers
The Big Sur Land Trust invites our members, partners and volunteers to an Open House at our new Monterey location, a beautiful historic adobe building that has not been open to the public for many years. Visitors will learn about what the Land Trust is doing to promote stewardship, conservation and community connection, and BSLT staff will be on hand to answer questions.
“People will be amazed to find out how many projects the Land Trust is involved with,” says Todd Farrington, BSLT’s Community Affairs Manager. “Our five pillars – healthy communities, ecological health, stewardship, our local economy, and youth and education – inform our actions, and this is a great opportunity for people to learn more about what their Land Trust is doing – what’s happening on the ground today, and what we are planning for the future.”
Bring your curiosity and your excitement for conservation, get to know BSLT staff members, and join in the Land Trust’s commitment to foster and support healthy landscapes and communities in Monterey County.
